"Jim Caldwell will remain the offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens next season, according to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun.
Since Caldwell took over for Cam Cameron on Dec. 10, the Ravens have averaged 26.2 points per game, including 30 points per contest in the postseason.
As underdogs the past two games, Baltimore has taken off, posting a combined 66 points against the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.
Caldwell, who was hired as the quarterbacks coach for Baltimore before the 2012 campaign, was head coach of the Indianapolis Colts for three seasons, working with Peyton Manning in the process. The Colts won the AFC South in 2009 and 2010 under his wing, and advanced to the Super Bowl in the 2009 season.
Under Caldwell's guidance this season, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has posted a solid campaign, tossing 22 touchdowns to 10 interceptions. He's been particularly impressive in the playoffs, averaging 9.2 yards per pass attempt while throwing eight touchdowns to zero interceptions."
